The 5G phone is priced aggressively and seems to have most of the features that one might be looking for in the Rs 20,000 price range. It offers AMOLED display with Dolby Vision, Snapdragon 778G chipset, 67W fast charger, stereo speakers and more. The company is promising to offer two years of major Android OS upgrades and three years of security updates. Here is a quick look at the price and specifications of the upcoming Poco X5 Pro smartphone.

Poco X5 Pro: Price in India

The Poco X5 Pro comes with a starting price of Rs 22,999 in India for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model. The 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model will cost you Rs 24,999. There also a discount offer of Rs 2,000 on ICICI bank cards, which will effectively bring down the price to Rs 20,999. The sale will begin on February 13 via Flipkart.

Poco X5 Pro: Specifications

The new Poco X5 Pro smartphone has a typical punch-hole display design and the cut out is placed in the centre on the top of the screen. The device sports a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate. The 10-bit panel has support for Dolby Vision, HDR 10+ and 900nits of peak brightness.

The company is claiming that its new Poco phone has the “slimmest” design. This one has a boxy design and will be made available in three colours, including yellow, black as well blue. The mid-range phone even has IP53 rating and the screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. There are stereo speakers as well, that are backed by Dolby Atmos.

It is using Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 778G chipset, which the company is claiming is faster than MediaTek Dimensity 1080 SoC found inside the recently launched Realme 10 Pro+. Well, this Snapdragon chip has powered several popular 5G phones in the past and so it seems that the company doesn’t want to take risk in offering a new chip.

The new 5G Poco phone has a 5,000mAh battery under the hood and the company bundles a 67W fast charger along with the phone. The brand has also given support for 5W reverse charging. There is a triple camera setup at the back and it includes a 108-megapixel primary camera. It is accompanied by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera and a 2-megapixel macro camera. One will be able to record up to 4K videos with the Poco X5 Pro. On the front is a 16-megapixel sensor for selfies.
