How to Delete Other Files From Storage in MIUI 12?

To delete the other files from storage option in Redmi and POCO phones, follow the steps mentioned below.

  1. First of all, make sure that you have deleted all the unnecessary files, APKs, or any other files.
  2. Go to Security App > Cleaner > Clear cached data.
  3. Open your file manager and search for “photo_blob” files. These files are the thumbnail cache of your gallery. Delete these files.
  4. Sometimes, your old Whatsapp backup data is stored in file manager which can make your storage full. Make sure to delete them by going to File Manager > Whatsapp > Database. You will find the files here, delete the old ones and keep the latest ones.
  5. Now, its time to delete other files from Storage system
  6. Download the Storage Analyzer & Disk Usage from Play store.
  7. Open the app & go to Tab device storage
  8. It will start loading files, Once it is loaded, Go to File Categories.
  9. Now, tap on Others in file categories page and choose the top files from the list.
  10. Click on the top file and it will take you to the list of multiple files. Click on the icon given at the bottom right side of the page and then tap on Select All.
  11. Once every file has been selected choose the option again to delete files.
